Quinta do Noval - Jeroboams

Quinta do Noval

One of the oldest shippers dating back to at least 1715, Noval has only had 3 owners in all that time, the current being AXA Millésimes, who bought the property in 1993. Unusually most of their ports, and all of their vintage ports, come from the Quinta do Noval, a superbly sited vineyard overlooking the Pinhão. The wines have richness and power, but also a beautiful finesse that makes them amongst the very best. Noval also has a 2.4 hectare parcel of ancient vines on original rootstocks which is sold as Naçional. Just 2-300 cases of this are made and it is arguably the greatest and certainly the most expensive port on the market.
