Miltonduff

One of the earliest distilleries to be established was Miltonduff in 1824. In 1964 two Lomond stills were installed. The spirit from these stills went by the name of Mosstowie. When the Lomond stills were changed in 1981 it marked the end of production of Mosstowie. The majority of Miltonduff that is produced is used for blending into Ballantine’s whisky.
