Maison Roche de Bellene

Nicolas Potel is a highly talented and engaging winemaker who has travelled the world learning his craft. He had a domaine and négociant under his own name but lost control of it to investors. Starting again, but without his own name, the new centure was named Roche de Bellene. Nicolas has access to some of the best Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the region for his Maison Roche de Bellène wines. In recent years these wines have been consistently matching or bettering the critical scores from some of the biggest names in the Côte d’Or. Nicolas has also been steadily acquiring parcels of old vines for his Domaine de Bellène wines, which are all grown using biodynamic methods.
