Kupal Wines - Jeroboams

Kupal Wines

Kupal was founded in 2007 by Chilean businessman Gerardo Linares and Ignacio Milic. They felt that too much Chilean wine tasted manufactured and without a sense of place and their mission has been to make wines that are not overwhelmed by the winemaking process, but which have an elegance and sense of terroir. The winery owns and manages 240 hectares of vineyards, the majority in Colchagua, but also with significant holdings in the cooler regions of Curico and Leyda. An important part of maintaining their quality is that no fruit is purchased from vineyards outside of their control. The wines take their name from Mount Tacora, the northernmost volcano in Chile.
