Domaine De Rochebin

Still owned and run by The Marillier and Rapet families who founded it in 1921, Rochebin currently owns 45 hectares of vineyards. 40% is Chardonnay, nearly 30% Gamay and the remainder is Pinot Noir and Aligoté. The Clos St. Germain wines are serious Burgundies, with both aged in oak barrels for 12 months following traditional vinification. Coming from the Southern end of Burgundy, the wines have a generosity of fruit often found wanting in Bourgogne.
