Domaine A.F. Gros - Jeroboams

Domaine A.F. Gros

Anne-Françoise Gros started her eponymous domaine in 1988 with her share of her father’s domaine, Jean Gros. Married to François Parent of domaine Parent, since 1998 they have used the same winery in Beaune to produce both domaine’s wines. Their children have now joined them at this top rank estate with enviable vineyard holdings mostly in Vosne and Pommard. Anne-Françoise and François’ children, Mathias and Caroline, are the 13th generation of this great Burgundian wine dynasty. The quality at this venerable estate has never been higher, and many of the top critics have been effusive in their praise of recent vintages. Production volumes are more normal in 2018, but with a 50% volume reduction on the horizon in 2019 these wines are well worth serious consideration.
