Chateau Clement-Pichon - Jeroboams

Chateau Clement-Pichon

Purchased by Clément Fayat in 1976 and re-named after him, the estate was totally renovated. Planted to 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 25 hectares here make 10,000 cases annually. The famed Michel Rolland is the oenologist and he aims for wines that are juicy and supple and ready for early consumption. The 2009 was a huge success here and represents great value for money, indeed the top French critic, Michel Bettane described it as the ‘best possible purchase in the Haut-Médoc’!
