Bodega Weinert

Having amassed a fortune in shipping, Brazilian based Don Bernado Weinert founded his bodega in 1975, convinced that Lujan de Cuyo had perfect conditions to make world class wines. A state of the art winery was constructed and for over 30 years they have produced some of Argentina’s most elegant and compelling wines, wines that prompted Robert Parker to write ‘Bodega Weinert is producing South America’s greatest red wines – the qualitative equal of the finest reds in the world’. The Gran Vino is a blend of Cabernet, Malbec and Merlot which is both full and elegant, whilst the Malbec is both concentrated and restrained in character, beautiful now, but with the ability to age for 20 years.
