Akvinta

Distercoop was founded in Faenza, Italy in 1980 when it took over a pre-existing Distilleria S. Andrea, which was started in 1936. The distillery specialises in wine aquavit, grappa, alcohol made from cereals, fruit and beet molasses as well as must-processing for wine-making. Distercoop relies on several copper as well as more advanced distillation plants which are able to produce high quality alcohols and spirits. Quality is constantly monitored: from raw materials used to the different stages of the processing cycle, through gas-chromatographic, spectro-photometric and sensorial analyses performed on each batch of finished product. Besides traditional copper distillation plants, more efficient and technologically advanced plants are now running which make it possible to produce alcohols and spirits with a high, tested quality.
