Lamelia

Lamelia was created in 2012 as a joint venture between the local Matelica authority and the oldest winery in the region, the co-operative Pro.Vi.Ma, to promote the best vineyard sites in the Matelica region. Pro.Vi.Ma have 180 members and sustainably farm just 100 hectares between them. It was the finest sites from amongst their members that were identified and managed differently to create Lamelia with low yields and use of skin contact to add depth of fruit and weight to the wines.
