Domaine Huet

Victor Huet created this domaine in 1928 which now consists of 30 hectares in three different crus of Vouvray – Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont and Clos de Bourg. Run by his son Gaston, who was an early biodynamic pioneer, from 1947 until his death in 2002, the style of the wines is dependent on the vintage conditions and can vary from bone dry through to unctuous and sweet, but what is always consistent is the purity of fruit and the freshness of the acidity, hallmarks that allow the wines to age longer than almost any other. This is a superlative domaine that makes some of the finest white wines in the world.
