Domaine La Clef du Recit

La Clef du Récit is situated in Vinon, 7 km south of Sancerre. The Estate was taken over in 2012 by Anthony Girard, a dynamic young winemaker. Anthony left his family winery, which is now run by his brother, to start his own project after having the opportunity to purchase 8.5 hectares of first class vineyards nearby the small village of Récy (hence the name) in the southern part of the appellation. Since then, he has made various improvements to the winery including the construction of a new, much more modern and practical cellar in 2014. He now has almost 10 hectares of vineyards in Sancerre and Menetou-Salon and makes 5 cuvées.
