Chateau La Peyre

Owned and run by Dany and René Rabillier, La Peyre owns 8 hectares in the Marbuzet sector of St. Estèphe. The vineyard is 50% Cabernet, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot and until the 1990s, the harvest was sold to the co-operative. Now, with a modern winery, 4000 cases per year are produced. After a long maceration, the wine spent 15 month in oak, of which 30% was new.
