Cavicchioli e Figli

Founded in 1928 by the Cavicchioli family, this is one of the stellar names in Lambrusco, operating especially in Sorbara, the finest subzone. The family sold the winery to Gruppo Italiano Vini in 2010, to concentrate on their winery in Franciacorta, but brothers Sandro and Claudio Cavicchioli are still running the estate day to day. Many of the wines have achieved ‘Tre Bicchieri’ in the Gambero Rosso and the wines show the attributes of Lambrusco at its best.
