Caperdonich

This Pernod Ricard owned speyside disillery has been mothballed since 2002. Sadly, it seems unlikely to be re commissioned or indeed a buyer to be found. This used to be known as Glent Grant No.2 in 1897, when it was founded, but had to close within 5 years of inception due to a fire. It was only reopened as Caperdonich in 1965 and contributed mainly to the Chivas, 100 Pipers and passport blends. Good independent bottlings can still be found.
