Bodegas del Medievo

Founded in 2001, Bodegas Medievo is located in the warmer Baja zone of Rioja, but the vineyards are located at 600m altitude, which allows for a longer growing season. The bodega was created by a group of grape farmers who wished to take control of their own production and their aim is to make a more ‘modern’ style of fruit driven Rioja. Tempranillo accounts for 65% of the 150 hectares planted, with Garnacha the main other grape.
