Amalia Cascina

Amalia was started in 2003 when the Boffa family purchased an old farmhouse and a half dozen hectares of vineyard around Monforte d’Alba. A new winery was constructed at which Paola Boffa makes a range of 7 wines in very limited quantities. Only French oak is used for ageing the wines, which are unmistakably Piemontese, but have an edge of modernity to them. This is a future star to watch.
