Produttori del Barbaresco

Produttori del Barbaresco was founded in 1958 and now has 51 members farming a little over 100 hectares. The cantine only works with Nebbiolo and, although a co-operative, it is widely recognised as one of the top half dozen producers of Barbaresco. In fine vintages, 9 single vineyards wines are also made and a tasting of these is a fascinating demonstration of terroir and Nebbiolo’s ability to transmit this. A little over 20,000 cases of Barbaresco are made here each year and the wines are generally very fine value.
