Pasqua

The Pasqua brothers founded their eponymous company in Verona in 1925 to trade wines from their home region of Puglia. In a short time, they moved from being traders to producers of local wine, buying vineyards in Valpolicella. Now run by the third generation, they are present in 65 export markets with both Veronese and Puglian wines. Following major investment in a new winery in 2007, they began to explore making small batch wines from some of the finest terroirs in the region, wines made with absolute quality as the only factor. Mai dire Mai (never say never) is one of the first of these projects to come to fruition, a single vineyard Valpolicella from the Montevergo vineyard whilst Hey French is a barrel aged blend of wines from the 4 best vintages of the last decade, all from the Soave cru of Monte Calvarinna.
