Domaine Reverdy Ducroux

This domaine was founded in the 16th century and is now in the hands of the 14th generation Alain Reverdy. He exploits 50 different plots throughout Sancerre which are vinified separately in the new gravity flow winery. The vineyards are sustainably managed with only organic fertilizer (cow manure) used and weeding carried out through ploughing and hoeing rather than spraying. Les Caillotes comes from 25 year old vines on Terre Blanche soils in a south-west facing plot at 240m altitude.
