La Famille Brechet

The Bréchet family have been vignerons in the Southern Rhône for 5 generations and the mother and daughter team of Sylvette and Laurent now own and run four distinct properties, but with a single philosophy – to reflect each terroir and respect the traditions. They make wine in Châteauneufdu-Pâpe, Gigondas, at the Domaine de la Jerôme in Séguret and in La Londe-les-Maures in the Côtes de Provence. Domaine de la Jerôme is a Grenache Syrah blend with rich dark fruits, whilst the Gigondas is a powerhouse of a wine and one of the finest made in the appellation. 60% Grenache, the balance in Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault with 40% barrel aged, this is a spicy blockbuster full of black fruits, cassis and violets.
