Domaine de Castelnau

This ancient domaine, which can trace its roots back to the 13th century, is located on both the plains and rolling garrigue near Pézenas in the Picpoul de Pinet appellation. It is owned and run by Beatrice and Christophe Muret, who have chosen to concentrate on varietal wines, and only make a small quantity of Picpoul de Pinet. There are 100 hectares in total which are farmed following lutte raisonné, keeping environmental impact to a minimum.
