Domaine Bertin

The Bertin family have been involved in the Bordeaux wine trade since1742 and currently own 3 properties in the Libournais, the jewel being Clos l’Hermitage. Mme Yvette Bertin is the current head of the family, whilst the wines are made by her grand-daughter Sarah Boireau, who gained a degree in oenology from Bordeaux in 2003. Clos l’Hermitage is a 3.1 hectare parcel planted to 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
